I don't know if anyone is still supporting XDSL, but I really like it. Nice and small. A native install can easily be backed up and restored, and makes a decent bare-bones starting point for almost any application. A couple of feature requests (if anyone is still paying attention), for version 0.6:

1. By default, have the CD boot with the ssh server turned on. That way, no gui interaction with the box is necessary (it can all be done thru network).

2. Upgrade the kernel to 2.6 (LINUX26). Upgrade the distro to an etch variant (if possible -- I know this largely depends on DSL, but maybe switch to DSL-N to do so).

2.1 Change to idesk from xtdesktop, and fbh for wallpaper.

3. Include the latest atiusb LIRC driver (instead of xpad), so that remote works as mouse.

4. Include RFB server (for more remote access joy).

5. Include xbox-hdinstall on menu (for native install into partition of our choice).

Best regards,

Rob Gingher
