An Idea, Take Eurasia's automated version or Raincoat,
use the game pad and led to have a selection of bios
options. In example, make 4 bios bins (different sizes, or
different bioses) Assign each bios a button... but, use
the LED to verify your selection.
Bios: LED: Button:
Bios1.bin Green A (Green)
Bios2.bin Red B (Red)
Bios3.bin Off X (Blue)
Bios4.bin Orange Y (Orange)
To verify the state of the xbox:
Make your selection: Flash Orange
Flash failed: Xbox Flash Red
Flashing Complete: Flash Green (reboots)
Selection Timed out: Tray Ejects (reboots)
Or make it simple,
Take a 256k bios.bin assign 2 buttons,
1 to flash the tsop with the 256k bios
2 to flash the tsop with the 256k bios multiplied by 4 to
make a 1MB bios.
Bios: LED: Button:
bios.bin (256k) Green A (Green)
bios.bin (256k)x4 Red B (Red)
See the concept... No need for the computer or multiple
memory cards. Total flashing via Xbox, how ironic...
