Best place to ask questions such as this is on the Xastir mailing list or
the APRSSIG mailing list (that last is on tapr.org). We don't use the
bug-tracker or feature-request tracker much on Sourceforge right now.
Go to xastir.org to find how to subscribe to the Xastir mailing list.
Just a quick try: I believe you can filter out individual calls using the
filter box for the internet connections, but not for stuff received
directly on RF. As far as the digipeater in Xastir, we didn't put in a
full-fledged digipeater on purpose: Something like digi_ned is a better
option. If you're just wanted to do the WIDEn-N for your own station's
transmits, you do that in Interface->Interface Control, then set it up for
the specific interface(s) you're using by clicking on that interface and
then choosing Properties. You set them in "UnProto Paths" for a TNC
configuration, just as one example. I would set a mobile to WIDE1-1,WIDE2-1
in Path 1. For a fixed station I might choose the same or WIDE1-1 or
WIDE2-2. You can also set a separate igate->RF path there if you're acting
as an igate.
