Steven Friis mentioned that the address lookup seems to have a
consistent offset of about 100 yards SE of the target anywhere in
the country. If it's actually a variable offset, it could be a datum
problem.
This is far more likely due to the extremely poor quality of
the TIGER/Line data. The geocoding database is derived
directly from the TIGER/Line files, and any addresses it
finds will be just as wrong as the street-level data is.
