Extending ArcIMS / News: Recent posts

When I add a package (script, etc) I'll post a message on the Update forum. If you want to receive these update then simply click on the monitor forum link (i think you might have to have a sourceforge user name to do this - it's fairly painless and simple).

There will probably be a flurry of activity while I port over my scripts from ArcScripts and write a few new ones I have in mind. After that it will depend on how much I can piggy-back off what I am doing at work at the time.... read more

This is a repository for my customisation of the ArcIMS HTML viewer so that in the event that I get hit by a bus (or I am poached by someone that allows me to watch a Shuttle launch one day...here's hoping) someone can pick up the pieces for future development of any systems I have helped maintain.

But as well, I would like to think it might foster some collaborative development for really neat things people have done. I hope it will also give the opportunity to do some new things, for example, encapsulating the javascript object model so that upgrades to new versions of ArcIMS are less painful. A common base for a user's help guide would also be great.... read more
