Read and respond to this message at: https://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=5106666 By: amcnguy Hi,newbie here. I have been able to burn a Vixta disk,& successfully install it. I downloaded all updates, and everything was great. I removed the Live cd,& restarted my system. Now,it's asking my for "local Host Login".So I entered our Username. Then it asks for a password. I try to enter a password,& no text appears, when I try to type the password. I thought it may be a keyboard issue. So I booted up the live Vixta cd,& went into keyboard settings,& everything is correct there. Is"local host login" the same @ our login username? Would the password that it's asking for be the "root password"? Why can I enter a login name, but not enter password text?
