I'm running so.simplis.org 3.10 on my Aspire One as a live cd. It says "No network connection" in the task bar. The Aspire One of course has 802.11b/g wireless, and my house wireless network works just fine.
There is no documentation in the system on the subject of "wireless", so I don't know whether it is supposed to be able to detect the local wireless network or how to configure a wireless connection if its so incapable that it can not.
Lacking such documentation, there is no way to tell if your system is working the way it is supposed to or not.
Your 'new "View" of linux' is as lame as the old one.
Please make documentation a high priority for your system development.
