hi, i hope not to insult anyone by this, but i intend to run vixta on a virtualpc from microsoft(not my first choice but i have to have vista running on my system or my warranty is over) and i'd been told that linux uses 24bit drivers for video, and virtualpc doesn't support this only 16 and 32 bit drivers anyone knows if vixta use 24 bit or 32 bits and how to set linux for 32bits if needed?

If once you boot using the LiveCD, you can right click on the desktop and choose Confirugre Desktop and go to settings to change your display resolution and bit. I am using Vixta solely on VMware and have not installed it and am running at 1600x1200 24 bits. have no issues what so ever.
