    Hi.
I downloaded the vixta.org 3D Live DVD and booted it on my Asus X50N Notebook
(AMD X2 Mobile CPU 1,8GHz/2GB RAM/ GeForce Go 700M) but after the Bootscrren nothing happened. So
I pressed ctr+alt+F2 and logged in with the UN vixta, then typed startx. I got the error message "server error, no screens found". Vixta.org does not come with the option to boot in safe grafics mode. So what do i do now?

by the way, I think it would be much better if vixta.org was based on ubuntu or debian. fedora sucks in my opinion. But the KDE4.2 setup in vixta.org is awesome!

      hi,

      you are rigth!

nice idea, i must include a safe graphics boot options in next release!

make vixta in ubuntu (.deb), it is a nother nice idea, but no time to do it!

PS: simllis.org is equal to vixta.org, but without 3D activated.

I would simply love to be able to install it. I am new to anything linux. I downloaded the new DVD and I can only get it to install to the computer from the DVD itself (as if the DVD is the hard drive). It gives me no option to install the OS to the hard drive for every day use. Can I get any help or suggestions?
