Hello im trying to install vista on a hp dv6000 laptop, but when im about to select the partation to install ( i think its the 3 menu of the instalation, after the choise of keyboard) it freezes!!!
anyone got that problem!!!

I too am having this problem. I can not even uncheck the boxes of the drives I do not want to install to. All I even need to do is hover the curser over and it freezes. The only way I can proceed to the next screen is to leave as default and click next right away. I do now want to do this because it will wipe all drives and I will also lose windows.

try to have 5 to 7 GB of free space before trying to install
