#4 SSP 1.0 fails to install

Immediately after clicking the install button, I get an
error "There were errors installing the software -
Please try installing again."

System:
G4 Tower
Mac OS X 10.1.2 - 9GB available disk space -
512MB RAM

Anyway to check a log to see what it is croaking
on?
