There is no way of changing the default stylesheet used to display texts in browse mode. If you attempt to use the stylesheets provided for display of solutions in query mode (the fancy-1 or fancy-2 options for BNC-XML
for example), then the client will convert these into XSL files, but then fails to load them with the error message "Cannot load ..." and the display is rewritten "This text will be replaced by transformed XML before display".

Similarly, if you select "XML" mode to display texts in
browse mode, most of the text appears to be crossed out rather than rendered in XML.

If we can't get it to work, this facility should be withdrawn!
