I have two Macs, one a recent PowerBook G4, and the other a PowerMac
G4 Cube. Both are running the latest MacOS X (10.4.6)

On my PowerBook, everything seems to work fine. However, when I try
to use the CD Extraction function from the "util" tab, I get en error box
that reads "Error finding the CD drive" and an output window with the
following:

There is no sound support configured!
cdda2wav: No such file or directory. Unable to get plugin Interface:
e00002c7. Cannot open SCSI driver.
cdda2wav: For possible targets try 'cdda2wav -scanbus'. Make sure you
are root.
Probably you did not define your SCSI device.
Set the CDDA_DEVICE environment variable or use the -D option.
You can also define the default device in the Makefile.
For possible transport specifiers try 'cdda2wav dev=help'.

The CD then unmounts but does not eject.

Here's what's in my System Profiler for ATA:
