#2 dual monitor support

Tried every version from current back to 3.2 running on
Linux (Redhat and Ubuntu). When configured on a system
with dual monitors, the application runs but locks up
when displayed. If running on a single monitor
configuration, all is good.

FYI, If the application is launched from another
machine (IRIX, Solaris,etc.) and displayed back to the
dual screen system, everything works fine.
