I did some work about three years ago with Perl and MySql.
The task you have in mind is to use Perl on two MySql tables
in phpnuke.  I seem to have Perl and PHP installed from my
RedHat 6.2.  While awaiting your reply, I can review the
available documentation for those two areas and phpnuke.
