Please feel free to submit any bugs you find while testing or features you'd like to see in future releases to the appropriate project trackers. As you've probably already discovered, the existing documentation only covers the bare minimum to get users up and running. Most of my time is obviously focused on coding, so the documentation suffers. Any suggestions and/or submissions you'd like to make for the documentation would be welcome for review. You're "long way to go" comment is spot on. While almost everything in Wyrm Tools is extensible, I may have focused too much on that extensibility being implemented by developers. I'm realizing now that having advanced end users be able to define low-level entities such as game rules et. al. would help the "long way" take less time. Some of my focus during the current release will be on opening up the data model to scripting via some new abstractions. You can read a little about it at http://wyrmtools.sourceforge.net/blog/index.php?/archives/205-Spells-and-a-Segue.html. Hey there, I just downloaded Wyrmtools and checked it out. It has promise but there's a long way to go :) While I'm not up for programming any more, I'm happy to help out with testing it, writing documentation, etc. Any other people on this list? Cheers, Grant |
