Well, I need this tool and I'm working on it now to get it to compile for Linux with a Unicode build of wxWidgets-2.6.1. You'll notice that I've been checking some files in, but i have a few more files to rework & stick in.
So I certainly hope that the claims that this project has died are greatly exaggerated. Stay tuned.

Yes! I've been waiting for a visual design tool for wx for ages; it would be great if folks started work on this.
