You can use the files (Makefile.am-all other is generated) in guidelib and its subdirs as a starting point - they should be very similar. adapt the names and sourcefiles, add the Makefiles to configure.in in the wxIDE-dir(at the end). 

to regenerate the Makefiles run autogen.sh in the wxIDE-dir.

BTW, which wxWindows-Version is required to build the application?

for now 2.2.x is assumed - but i think it must be 2.4.x.
