I noticed a minor bug with the property grid, that when you browse properties with left & right arrows, if a property isn't enabled (is read-only) left/right arrow doesn't collapse/expand child properties of the property. This works fine if the property isn't read-only.
Should be fixed now in SVN trunk.
Anyway, have you noticed that there is a distinction between a property being disabled and property being read-only? That is, there are both wxPropertyGrid::DisableProperty() and wxPropertyGrid::SetPropertyReadOnly().
