It looks like this is the native Win32 ListViev
behaviour, and it is consistent with wxGTK, so I think it is correct.

Blame Microsoft ;-p ? Seriously, you may set a flag in the event handler
and do whatever you want to do in idle time
( you should receive events in this order:
deselect -> select -> idle, so you may catch this special case )
