What are you using to pack this baby? It looks like perl2exe, any particular reason you're using this? This is why it only runs on win32 ;) You might wanna add an icon to your wxapp (OnInit ... SetIcon). You might wanna add a splashscreen (just like AOL -- you can use Wx::Perl::SplashFast ), which would pop-up before the regular buy/eval popup ;D You might think about using wxSingleInstanceChecker (some folks like that option) Also, you should definetly make use of wxToolTips (and don't forget to localize them when you add locale support) Also, check out wxBusyCursor and wxCursor (also, most win32 apps have a helpcursor -- it's a nice feature). Also, and keep in mind very few people give this much thought, the UploadAway icongroup has Uninstall UploadAway as the first item. Personally I'd make it look something like Run UploadAway On the web (news,updates, ...)
