I just called Wx::Font like this (the exact same syntax I use > in other programs): > > my $font = Wx::Font->new( 24, # font size > wxSWISS, # font family > wxNORMAL, # style > wxNORMAL, # weight > 0, # Underline? > 'Comic Sans MS'); # face name > > But that gives an underlined default swiss font, much smaller than 24 > points. > > I played around a bit and tried moving the params around a bit, and it > turns out that by removing the 'underline' param (the zero), it *does* > use the right face name, but then it's underlined, and still not the > correct size. > > Any ideas? > > Jouke > I experienced something similar when I (briefly) upgraded to .13 to try it out. I use a fixed width font for displaying numerical data that I create using: $fixed_font = Wx::Font->new( 8, wxMODERN, wxNORMAL, wxNORMAL ); While using .13 this resulted in a font that was underlined. I didn't play around with it at all, just reverted back to .12 so I have nothing useful to add other than it happened to me as well. Brad |
