To be honest the best would be to have both ;-) The advantage with Mozilla (in this case Gecko I guess) is that it's cross-platform so that the same code could be made to work portably, whereas IE is tied to win (as that code won't work even with IE mac or solaris which are totally different) and konqueror will work only with KDE.
