[wxperl-users] Problem installing Wx-0.26 or Wx-dev-0.26 for active perl, v5.8.8

Hi All,

I have down loaded both
wxPerl-dev-0.26-wx-2.6.2-win32-u-5.8.6
and
wxPerl-0.26-wx-2.6.2-win32-u-5.8.6

I am running
C:\temp>perl -v

This is perl, v5.8.8 built for MSWin32-x86-multi-thread
(with 25 registered patches, see perl -V for more detail)

When I run *ppm install Wx-dev-0.26.ppd*. I get the follwoing error message

C:\temp> ppm install Wx-dev-0.26.ppd

I have checked my installtion of  the failing module, it is up to date.
