Noticed the typo, should be:
$grid->SetDefaultRenderer ...
but I still get an error about Wx::GridCellAutoWrapStringRenderer being
missing.
The following runs, but doesnt have any effect on wrapping
$grid->SetDefaultRenderer(Wx::GridCellStringRenderer->new());
