Thank you for your response. I will try it soon after I get home.

One more quick question. I have installed wxWidgets with gtk2. When I 
query the installed RPM: 'rpm -qa | grep gtk', I found gtk+-1.2 and 
gtk2-2.2. Does gtk2 and gtk+-2 mean the same? Or should I build gtk+-2 
from source since I haven't had it?
