Not to mention that it was freezing cold spring water I'd be landing in.<br> I was really happy we hadn't been walking a little faster. Louis guys had found that seemed to have a flooded underground chamber underneath it.<br> Louis friends with us since we'd never been there before, but they hadn't been able to joins us that night. Once the guy was satisfied he'd gotten the video, he led us back down toward the lobby to wait for our check.<br> He said no, but they did in the past. So, we started heading over that way.<br> He told us it was video him being struck by lightning.<br> We also saw the two guys from before wandering around down below taking pictures and waved to them. If we'd waited just a few minutes longer we would've been busted for sure.<br> It wasn't an extremely long tunnel, but it would've been nice to have it anyway.<br> I started clearing away all the loose bricks around the top, chucking them down inside the smokestack.<br> To make matters worse, I noticed that each time the figure would pass one of the doors to the mall he would walk over to it and attempt to open it. We told him about the sinkhole and he told us he was also having some video dubbed off.<br> That seemed to make him think harder on it, and he asked to see the video.<br> It turned out they didn't know who owned the place either, but they were just as interested in it as us.<br> If I'd seen it going up before I climbed up on those rungs, I would've stopped and gone the other way.<br> I found the door Hiccup and Chris were standing outside and yelled to tell them what I was doing.<br> So, we started heading over that way. He got pretty excited once he saw it and said that he would call the office and see if they were interested. I had no intention of running into some random homeless person or looter in a dark abandoned mall. In the middle of the thoroughfare, there was also a large clock, as well as raised concrete area that had once had plants growing in it.<br> I ended up finding a door that was labeled sub-basement, but it only led into a different area of the the basement.<br> My parents had told me about an awesome rope swing they'd had set up over there, and they weren't kidding. I decided to check it out anyway, and it was good that I did. Neither of us could remember exactly where we'd come into the main part of the mall.<br> I decided right away I'd probably just keep it as a souvenir instead of cashing it. Judging by the funny way he went walking off, though, it hurt him a lot more.<br> He got pretty excited once he saw it and said that he would call the office and see if they were interested.<br> At the end, it simply came out on a catwalk at the other end of the basement.<br> <br> </body> </html> |
