I'd like to suggest that you consider developing an
ActiveX package for wxWidgets since this seems to be a
very similar project to the .net packaging.
The reason for this is that it would immediately make
wxWidgets available on Windows systems and make it
possible to use it via javascript - which seems to me
to be the best designed of the scripting languages even
if it has to be used as jscript.
This would of course also make wxWidgets available in a
uniform way to other languages that can access the
Windows Script Host (perl, python, etc.)
It seems to me that this would give wxWidows a
considerable boost in accessibility as well as being
extremely useful.
A related 'feature' might be an xpcom interface but at
the moment I'm not clear how usable that would be.
