As per Mark/Kol's request with some of my additions:
The ability to start logging automatically upon
connecting to a MUD that has auto-logging enabled. This
could be done so that the filename could be parse for
time strings, like
%y - 2 digit years,
%Y - 4 digit year,
%d - date,
%m - month,
etc
So for example one could automatically log everything
to "mud_name%d%m%Y.log" and when the file already
existed (have already connected to that MUD) it will be
appended to the log...
Possibly also change the logfile when the next day
begins (or hour if an hour % code is used).
