I really like the feature of wxMaxima to export your work as a .tex-file. This produces great pdf-files when running pdflatex. The only thing I miss until now is the possibility
to put LaTeX-syntax in these text-cells, things like $\sin(\omega t)$. Of course I could edit the .tex-files after they have been exported and substitute the ascii-text by LaTeX-syntax but that is rather cumbersome and error prone. Has anyone here a solution for this?
Meanwhile someone from the maxima-mailing list offered me the solution.
If you start the text-cell with "TeX: " (without quotes), you can enter LaTeX-code.
