Pls. note a legal issue related to the use of the name "wxLisp" which is described here:
    http://www.olivfabric.de/content/on-wxcl.html#wxlisp

and do not use the name "wxLisp" any longer if you mean "wxCL".

(I'll also discuss the renaming of this project pages with Sanjay.)

    Thx

    (Joerg)

      Mmmmmh.

      The URL
      http://www.wxcl.org
seems to be registered by others.

Maybe we can just keep the domain the same and change all references while making it clear on the homepage that wxlisp is another project. Or we can point the domain elsewhere like say try for wx4cl or something like that.

      Comments???

I know that I'm just an onlooker, yet, but I think that wx4lisp would sound good.

It would also avoid any ambiguity with the language called, formally, CL

        Mmmh.

I think the risk of ambiguity when using "wxCL" is really limited to the moment of the first glance. Other language bindings for wxWidgets (the new name of wxWindows) seem to tend to stick to the convention

        > (conc$ "wx" (string-capitalize language-name))

(I would in fact like a name that makes other-language programmers run for the door; something in the horrid style of "wx-lambda" or "wx-funcallable-instance" or even "#'wx". *rotfl*)
