I *may* have to port a program written in LISP on MacOS in a few weeks/months for my job, and I'm a fan of wxPython, so I'm potentially interested by your project :)
Is there anything I could do to help?
Did you start to code anything? (CVS's empty)
What approach do you want to take to generate wrappers ?
Best regards,
Rolf

Wow... it's very long :)
I haven't had the time to read it (and understand it, I mean!) yet, but I'll do it as soon as I can.
In fact I have almost no experience in Lisp except for the courses I had on it long time ago...
So I don't know CLOS and all the stuff. I suppose I'll have to study about it a bit before I can (start to) understand your doc.
(C++ is not a problem for me, on the other hand... Python too, but it's probably not what we need ;) )
I hope I'll be able to help you (right now I'm busy with other things...) (I know, I speak too much, and this is not what you need ;)
Cheers,
Rolf

Don't worry, against many other coders, I appreciate people that talk before they put their hands on the keyboard. This may save us a lot of work.
Pls. take On wxCL with a grain of salt. It's not the Ten Commandments, and watch this forum during the upcoming days -- I'll start a thread to discuss the compilation process, the building of wrappers and an agenda for the next steps toward a wxCL microsystem. (If anything of my wording seams unclear, search for the respective words on the On wxCL page ( http://www.olivfabric.de/content/on-wxcl.html ).
I do also encourage you to ask for the meaning of anything you don't know or understand (about the project at hand), so once I have your questions, they can be answered in the dictionary of concepts (section 19 of On wxCL; http://www.olivfabric.de/content/on-wxcl.html#035 ) for you and everyone out there.
The mentioned thread may already turn some of what currently are suggestions and questions into valuable decisions.
Welcome on board!
