#13 Search for a string gave me: assert ""Assert failure"" failed in EndModal

I want to start a search after a word inside an opened binary file and got after I clicked search an dialog which informs me about a program error. The attached file contains the complete error message and was created by wxHexEditor itself.

Ah - I forget to tell, which version I use. It is this one: 0.24 Beta for Linux from Debian
