The Find window stays in front of other windows despite alt-tabbing and cannot be dragged to an out-of-the-way location. It can be resized but that's not flexible enough. The wxHexEditor Searching window can be dragged aside but it still stays in front. This makes doing other work during a long-running search cumbersome. If the intent is that the computer should not be used for anything else when wxHexEditor is searching a device, tell us, but I had wxHexEditor searching a flash drive while I was working in windows that ran and filled from the hard drive, so there shouldn't have been a conflict.
The main window can be alt-tabbed out of view even at the same time that the Find and Searching windows cannot be. Linux with Gnome supports multiple workspaces and all three wxHexEditor windows are hidden when I use another workspace, so I guess seeing them is not essential during their scan.
I ran wxHexEditor 0.22 on openSuse 13.2 Linux, kept evergreen, and don't know how to set up 0.23.
Fixed.
This will be included in v0.24 final release.
