[wxhaskell-users] is imageCreateFromPixelArray "safe"?

Is there any reason for imageCreateFromPixelArray to be in IO?  I want to
use it as a pure function (via unsafePerformIO), and I'm wondering if there
are any gotchas.   - Conal
