Yellow, I'm studying in France and I'm fluid in French. I saw somewhere a message that the french translation was done but you needed someone to check and validate it. I'm no expert but I could give it a look and check that traslation if it's not already done. Also if I understood right the Tips needed to be translated. I'm not too fluent in German but I could give it a start. So anyway, if someone finds the time to answer, I'm motivated for this work but I don't really know what still needs to be done and where to start. Have a good day, Cat |

Hello wxdsgn-translators, Dominique has helped us update the French translation. I have not seen who is in the wxdsgn-translators list, but I thought if anyone wanted to give another review to the French translation it would be good. Our .lng files are not the final language files. In a month or two after I've studied dxgettext I'd move to .po files using GNU gettext (hopefully then the complex scripts will be supported, mainly Chinese, Korean and Japanese). Joel P/s Dominique you can post to this address (wxd...@li...) -----Original Message----- From: DoMi [mailto:dom...@fr...] Sent: 11 April 2007 10:30 PM To: jo...@jo... Subject: french.lng... There the French.lng file I downloaded and modified today 11 april 2007 encoding : ISO-8859-1 More than fifty corrections or changes... I'm not accustomed to CVS so I join it in this email I didn't change the version number I hope I didn't make a mistake by sending it directly to you !? Thanks for your work for wxDev-C++ Next step : French.tips file (but not today ;-) ) Cordially from France DoMi |
