When we are building this IDE we want to appeal to the majority of users, as well as those with more esoteric wants. Is it worth going through the request lists of DevCpp and wxDev-C++ and making a list of what users have requested? At the same time is it worth posting to the wxDec-C++ forum and informing the users that we propose a new IDE based on wxDev-C++, but cross-platform and asking them what they want to see in the new IDE? I think by taking all these view into account we can build an IDE for all users from the start and have a better idea what we need to cater for in our design.
