Don't worry about it Franchesco, I am really glad you have been so 
patient in helping me sofar. It is just frustrating that this happens, 
and I cannot find out why :-(

I will try soon again under Linux. If that does not fail, I will keep 
working under linux on my laptop and give windows the boot.
