Ok, Germ=E1n, how about you just take over the current wxplot and update it as necessary? If I understand correctly, that would make more sense than creating a new project since I don't think anyone else is maintaining it. I've updated the component list and added you as an author and you have cvs write access for wxCode/components/wxplot.
