Hi,
    since I know submission form is not working, I ask you directly to 
add a new component:

Component: webupdate
Subdir: webupdate
wxWidgets: 2.5.x, 2.6.x
Description:
Adds all required code & dialogs to implement a full update-check & 
update-download to your application. Requires just a text file to be 
uploaded on your web server and few lines of code in your application to 
  implement this new amazing feature.
