[wx4j] Libwx4j.jnilib of Mac OSX 10.10

I've been trying to use Wx with Java on the Mac (after great success with
Python).   My programs compile but won't run with a message complaining
that the library,  Libwx4j.jnilib, is mach-o but wrong architecture.

I have found no postings addressing this or how to rebuild that library.

Did I miss the answer somewhere?
