Dear Dom, Having just looked at the CVS of wvware at sourceforge, I must say you did a thorough job. Perhaps you should mention this mailing list at the wvware's home page. CVS anon checkout works fine; however, developer checkout (through the ssh tunnel) does not. I believe that if you want to give me named CVS access, you should register me as a developer (easiest through the Web interface) which will add mvermeer to Unix group wvware. My error message is [mv@geo9 mv]$ export CVS_RSH=ssh [mv@geo9 mv]$ cvs -z3 -dm...@cv...:/cvsroot/wvware co wv mve...@cv...'s password: cvs server: Updating wv cvs server: failed to create lock directory in repository `/cvsroot/wvware/wv': Permission denied cvs server: failed to obtain dir lock in repository `/cvsroot/wvware/wv' cvs [server aborted]: read lock failed - giving up ...pointing to lack of privileges. t.
