When I run ./configure everything runs ok except this part:
Checking png.h usability... yes
Checking png.h presence... yes
Checking for png.h... yes
Checking pngconf.h usability... no
Checking pngconf.h presence... yes
configure: WARNING: pngconf.h: present but cannot be compiled
configure: WARNING: pngconf.h: checking for missing prerequisite headers?
configure: WARNING: pngconf.h: proceeding with the preprocessor's result
Checking for pngconf.h... yes
Checking for png_free in -lpng... yes
Not knowing if this is a serious error or not, I continued on and ran gmake and gmake install. When it's all over some of the files are installed but not wvWare itself.
I am running RedHat 9.0 with libpng-1.2.2-16 and libpng-devel-1.2.2-16. There end up being three png.h and pngconf.h files one each in the following directories: /usr/include, /usr/include/libpng, and /usr/include/libpng12.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!
I think this error is harmless, though certainly annoying... I really should do something about that.
I don't really know why wvWare wouldn't be installed.
Are there any errors at the end of the gmake run?
