#3 Fully integrate autotools

The autotools build system is in place, but we're not taking full advantage of the system. We should be using it to check for our outside libraries correctly (OpenCV, Xerces-C, FLTK, CMU IPC) and their locations. Likewise, we need to generate pkg-config files from the build system.

This is partially taken care of now. a .pc pkg-config file is generated, and the configure script checks for OpenCV, Xerces-C, dc1394 and CMU IPC. FLTK needs to be added still, along with the XML::DOM perl module.
