    I've seen a lot of piss-poor *nix install docs, but nothing I've encountered the docs to arch so I can install it and compile the 0.5.  Could someone post instructions on doing that?  How it can be "better" than CVS is beyond me.

      Okay, I assume that you already downloaded the tarball, I am using tla-1.1
      Extract the tarball by doing:
      $ tar zxf <file>
      then
      $ cd tla-1.1
      then
      $ less \=INSTALL
      (You need to escape = because = is a specialy character in bash)

      Feel free to ask again if you need help. Also, from my 2 days of arch usage, I think you should follow the first instruction instead of the second one.

      forgot to mention that you need to install diffutils package from fink.

      I've figured as much, but I'd rather go back to System 6 than to install Fink on my OS X box.  I really don't want it there.  I think I need a developement OS X box just to install stuff like that on.

        Fink isn't bad though. I suppose you can just download the diff from gnu.org. If there's demand for it, I can also put tarballs (of wsmanager) up or something.
