#120 Hotkeys "Error" and custom Keyboard Layouts

using a custom "Keyboard Layout", such as one created by the tool
Ukelele:

the Hotkeys will read "Error" instead of the key combo which
produces the command.

i have attached my custom keyboard layout, which is a small
modification of the British layout, but the §ą key produces #€
instead.

either place this file in ~/Library/Keyboard Layout or (to avoid
conflicts in some user switching scenarios) the system wide folder.

sorry, i should have added: you need to log out and in again in order to be
able to select this new layout from the System Preference -> International
menu
