#101 desktop pager return from hiding

After switching desktops and working for a while, if I go to the
edge of the screen to bring up the hidden desktop pager it is
reluctant to pop up. If I click on the screen outside of the area
where the pager should appear once or twice and then go back to
the edge the pager appears. It will then come and go normally
until I go back to work. On the next attempt to make the pager pop
up the misbehavior recurs. I am running 10.3.5 on a 15"
powerbook.
