I may well have been too naïve in believing so.

 

The thing is that on the hound side, in the absence of an OTP, and all OTP checkboxes ticked, you cannot really tell if an OTP verification is done or not.

I believe today, one can observe “$Verify$”, “K1ABC verified”, “K1ABC invalid” in the band activity pane.

What if we add a hint at the fox side that the callsign is “not verified” if all OTP checkboxes (Superfox mode, Hound, OTP, Show OTP messages) are ticked ?

Hi Erik,

 

Are you sure the station you're receiving is the legitimate SuperFox? We have seen other examples where the "PJ6Y verified" message appears as expected. Here's one from several days ago.
