Noticed one thing - wsjt-x remembers rig in config by rig name. 
Unfortunately names are not stable in hamlib, example:

Only IDs are stable. Future name changes in hamlib can be expected.


When rig name changes wsjt-x silently switches to first rig on the list, 
ADAT rig, and from user point of view silently stops working (assuming 
user had something else set in his setup).

wsjt-x could warn that "XYZ rig found in configuration file is not 
supported by your Hamlib. Please update Rig in Preferences->Radio 
settings." in such case.
