[wsjt-devel] MINT 22 no audio cards detected

I just made a fresh installation of Mint 22 MATE....

Then I have compiled both WSJT-X 2.7.0-rc6 and wsjt-x improved 2.7.1 
version 240814.

Both present the same problem.... the list of audio devices is empty so 
none can be selected.

I went on Mint site

and I did what is suggested to disable the new pipewire audio server:

apt purge pipewire pipewire-bin
systemctl enable --user pulseaudio
sudo reboot

inxi -A

So, pulseaudio is active....nevertheless wsjt-x does not present any 
list of audio devices....

I have also recompiled after this new set up, but no luck :-(


Please any idea to solve the problem ?
